Well, you don't know how long musicbrainz will be listing that list,
plus a Xiph project, should well, be hosted at Xiph, I think.

No, I do not agree with killing the list.  Also, after seeing the Open
Clip Art Library switching their mailing list, it looked easy and
clean.  Not to mention the whole deal with the iCommons one.  I'm in
too many lists.  I have seen very few switch for whatever reason.
Those that did have not caused its users (and me) any problem.

On the other hand, if everyone is in favor of giving it the axe, it's
not my vote that will change the outcome.
