Whilst writing I found there was little I could say about the MDCT and the 
FFT so the inclusion in the psychoacoustics text was a formatting decision 
that can easily be changed (as you suggest). I might expand the information 
on the MDCT as it is an important feature that is closely linked with 
windowing.

I completely agree - the text I wrote didn't flow at all. It was number one 
target for a rewrite - thanks for the help with that. I can also include 
extra information on the magazine audio test.

The appendix came about thanks to a conversation with my supervisor where I 
quickly summarised what I thought each file did. I will think about how 
best to adapt this to link to the diagram.

Finally - I was unsure about which list this thread should appear in. I 
hoped the document would be interesting for someone about to start 
development work (having no prior experience of Vorbis). If I should have 
put in the Vorbis list (rather than dev) can someone tell me and I cease 
here and transfer.

I will do some re-working tomorrow.
