 From the point of view of Ogg it would make more sense to do these as 
separate vorbis tracks multiplexed together. Not something vorbis 1.0 
supports, but it will be in theora (our ogg-based video format)

OTOH, that's more work to produce from a commercial mixer since you 
have to split off and compress the two mixes separately. For your 
application niche, it may not matter much.
