[vorbis-dev] remote control

Hi,

I am developing modules for irmp3, a mp3 jukebox. Currently it uses
mpg123 to play mp3 files. A nice feature of mpg123 is that it can be
started in "remote control" mode. In this mode, mpg123 takes commands
from standard input, like load file, play and pause and it sends status info
back to standard output. Irmp3 uses this mode to control mp3 playing.

Since ogg-vorbis is becoming more common, I'd like to implement
ogg support for irmp3 too. However, I didn't find a way to "remotely"
control ogg123. Is there a way to do that?

You might want to check out the way mpg123 does this, just start it
by typing e.g.

  mpg123 -R -
  load <file.mp3>
  pause
...
