[vorbis-dev] problem building vorbis-tools-1.0rc3

Ok, I'm an idiot.  Sorry for not reading more carefully.

Is there any libvorbis.so in /usr/lib still?  I haven't used slackware
for years, so I dont' remember if they have devel packages like the
others do.

might try attaching your config.log.  Maybe try a clean untar ?
