Not sure about 44 kHz. That's probably about the same. I know we had
32kHz digital at the radio station where I worked, and one day I pulled
out some old vinyl to compare. Oh, my, how much better the vinyl sounded.
It was probably one of the most humbling experiences of my life. :-)
