Please do _not_ use cygwin.  There should actually be two driver
developed, one for straight waveOut() style output, and one for
DirectSound.  If you want to be clever, something that outputs to a
Cubase driver would be cool :)

There should be nothing in libao that requires cygwin or major porting
work except for:

- DLL loading, which should be easy enough to do (the apis are very
similar)
- configuration (shouldu be in registry instead of /etc/libao.conf :)
