Good to know, but not overly important to what I'm doing.  I will be 
encoding the stream on the fly as it is sent to the client, not encoding it 
all at once and then sending it.  It's probably better that MP3 takes less 
time, and because I simply haven't been able to get any assistance with 
using OGG for this, I am going to implement my system using MP3, but 
keeping the eventual transition to OGG.
