Well, I'm a relative newcomer to this group, and to the thread.  But as
one who has (tried to) receive help on IRC and not gotten it, perhaps we
can find out what the problem is and try to fix it.B (Yes, I know.  This
is not IRC.)

If the distro is too geeky, then let's make it not so geeky.  I can help.

If he's trying to create a stir, leave him alone.

If the group is too, um, "sophisticated", well, that's another
issue.  I'll wait and see on that one.

P. S.  I've NEVER been known to keep my mouth shut at the right
