Super! I'm no friend of ID3v2 -- the spec is nasty to implement.
However, the one thing I like about ID3v2 is the thouroughness of the
data that it covers.

While keeping in mind the the ID3v2 spec I've created an XML dtd that
defines pretty much all the fields (except for some of the more esoteric
fields) in ID3v2. I plan to use this dtd for the work I am doing to
extend the CD Index into a more general music database.

I think it would be in the communities interest if Vorbis enabled
players, the future CD Index, and icecast could use one dtd to
communicate about metadata.

And, I am also still working on getting vorbis support into FreeAmp. I
