[Tremor] MB() function call

Hi,

Could you let me know what the purpose of the function
MB(); is?

This function gets called in mdct.c file, in the
butterflies part.

I really didn't understand the purposeof calling this
function, though the Tremor decoder works file though
after commenting all the calls to MB(): in mdct.c

Any suggestions on whether to keep the function or can
I safely remove or ignore the function MB(); ?
