A 74MHz ARM7 with a few hundred kB or RAM is sufficient acording to some previous posts.
A 32bit DSP with similar performance should work nicely.
It is important that the DSP you choose have a 32bit*32bit=64bit multiplication instruction. Otherwise you will need a faster DSP to compensate.

Subject: [tremor] Tremor on DSP

Hi,

Myself and a friend are trying to implement the Tremor code onto a DSP to
use as a minimal Ogg Vorbis player.

I'm trying to figure out the specs required for such as DSP, such as memory,
cache, speed, etc.

Is there a listing of the minimum resources utilized by the Tremor package
available on the web?

Thanks

Kapil
