Unfortunately, nothing I've suggested in there has been committed, so
either follow those suggestions, or if you need a fast fix, put a:

#define inline __inline

omewhere, for example in the MSVC Project Settings under
Preprocessor.

In C99, an ISO standard, inline is allowed. However, MSVC and many
other compilers are not yet C99 compliant...
