Asa Dotzler (from Mozilla) said on IRC he or she has started such a guide.
I do not know when it'll be available, but I'd guess soon (eg, before FF 3.5
gets released). AFAIK, this guide is meant as a hands on guide on encoding
using Theora (and presumably Vorbis) for non technical people.
