[Theora] Problem installing Theora. help please

I believe rpm just looks at other installed rpm packages for its 
dependencies, so it wouldn't notice if you'd installed your own
build from source in /usr/local/. Probably the thing to do is to
find a theora rpm package and install that, or build one yourself.
The requisite files should be included in the alpha4 source release,
just run the normal rpm build command and install the resulting package.

I don't know why curl is also failing, unless it's the same issue? The 
version you have should be sufficient.
