Are you sure you remember correctly?  The question was raised in
<URL: https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/theora/-/issues/2331 >.  According to
<URL: http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/theora/2009-September/002807.html >,
version 1.1 was codenamed Thusnelda.
