[Speex-dev] AGC function, what is its algorithm from? and Does it have fixed-point implementation?

Dear all,

I've tested the AGC function in preprocess.c, it works fine for me. But
does anyone know what is this AGC function basic algorithm from? any paper
or books?

And does this AGC function have fixed-point implemetation already???
