[Speex-dev] problem using speex

Hi all!

 

I'm using speex to encode speech captured using MS direct sound.

 

I'm saving one minute buffers of raw data which then I'm encoding into
one minute spx files.

 

My problem is that after encoding a whole minute, the duration of the
file is always less than a minute

 

It varies between ~58.8 - 59.8 seconds.

 

The problem is that I have to synchronize the files with a clock and if
the files are a lot less than a minute I can't do it  properly.

 

Does someone have a clue what the problem is ?
