[Paranoia] Re: CD drive stuttering problem

Here's another data point for you. I'm using Gentoo's stock cdparanoia 
and your patched version to rip the audio tracks from Sierra's Starsiege 
game CD. Starsiege is a multisession disc containing game data in the 
first session and audio tracks after. I'm using the 
gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.8-r3 kernel.

First, the stock version (compiled with '-O2 -pipe'):
