[paranoia] DMA problem

Yes DMA is set on the drives.
The combination of ide-scsi, kernel 2.4.21 and 48X CDROM has so far 
removed the missing interrupt messages <dmesg>.  The cd ripping speed is 
also faster with this combination.
Win2k does not show missing interrupts in the event log. I don't know if 
Win2K logs missing interrupts.
