I've been using linux and cdparanoia for a while, on two other computers, but I can't seem to get it working on my "new" computer. My new computer is a MSI k7t266 pro ru with a 1.4GHz athlon and 512MB DDR. I have a Lite-on cd/rw as master drive on the second ide channel. I'm using scsi emulation so I access the drive as /dev/sg0. I've attached the errors I'm getting to the end of this email. Note I can ue the drives for other purposes, such as mounting a CDROM, or playing audio through the analog output. Here's a transcript of my problem...

I bet you are using RH 7.3+ I've have had the same problems and "solved"
them, by not using SCSI emulation on my source drive. I know it's a
problem, if you haven't got an ordinary cd/dvd drive.

Sorry :-)
