I'm having some trouble ripping audio, and I haven't got a clue where to start looking. I've been using linux and cdparanoia for a while, on two other computers, but I can't seem to get it working on my "new" computer. My new computer is a MSI k7t266 pro ru with a 1.4GHz athlon and 512MB DDR. I have a Lite-on cd/rw as master drive on the second ide channel. I'm using scsi emulation so I access the drive as /dev/sg0. I've attached the errors I'm getting to the end of this email. Note I can ue the drives for other purposes, such as mounting a CDROM, or playing audio through the analog output. Here's a transcript of my problem...
bash-2.05a$ cdparanoia -B -v -g /dev/sg0
cdparanoia III release 9.8 (March 23, 2001)

Testing /dev/sg0 for SCSI interface
generic device: /dev/sg0
ioctl device: /dev/scd0
Found an accessible SCSI CDROM drive.
Looking at revision of the SG interface in use...
SG interface version 3.1.24; OK.
CDROM model sensed sensed: LITE-ON LTR-12101B LS3B
Checking for SCSI emulation...
Drive is ATAPI (using SCSI host adaptor emulation)
Checking for MMC style command set...
Drive is MMC style
DMA scatter/gather table entries: 256
table entry size: 32768 bytes
maximum theoretical transfer: 3566 sectors
Setting default read size to 13 sectors (30576 bytes).
Verifying CDDA command set...
Expected command set reads OK.
