Hi!

I don't know if the following is really a bug, I let you appreciate...

Distribution: Mandrake 8.1
Cdparanoia version: cdparanoia-IIIa9.8-2mdk

I use two 2 CD devices:
- a CD player and recorder MITSUMI CR-2801TE connected as IDE hdc
- a CD player LG CRD-8480M connected as IDE hdg
They both use the SCSI emulator with this line in /etc/lilo:
  append=" devfs=mount hdc=ide-scsi hdg=ide-scsi"

They usually work fine, without any problem, except that
cdparanoia runs only when the cd is in the CD recorder,
and cannot find the CD player:

I don't know what to do to solve that problem.

Thank you in advance for your answer.
