[paranoia] major hurdle - total lockup

Rats. And I really was crossing my fingers too. Didn't work. Same
results as before. (I keep rotating my CDs just to insure it's not a
bad CD too).
I anxiously await further assistance from you Doug or anyone else. I'm
stumped.
