Hi,
I have a request for a new feature ...
I've got a Plextor 12/20 SCSI CD drive which works really goot with cdparanoia.
But when I try ripping defective CDs with many scratches it does not work very
good. The drive needs days for one track. When I use the Windows (sorry..) tool
from Plextor and switch down the drive speed to single speed the audio capture
tool does read this track without errors within the normal time. So I'd like
to ask whether there is a way or plan to implement such a speed down feature
into cdparanoia ?
I think this could help ripping defective CDs a lot.
Salue
Peter
