Of course, there's a problem with the patch below, and it is that not
everybody sticks the headers in their own directory.  In particular, the
deb has them in /usr/include.  Does anybody know who actually wrote the
deb packaging at all, or if it even still works?  It looks like they
haven't been touched since 2001.
