XSPF is a playlist format in XML.  It's a simple and efficient
standard to develop playlists for digital players, online radios and
whatever the future may bring.

It's a great standard and, with some luck, it may replace all the
other crappy playlist formats.

Also, Ian, you forgot to mention all the activity in Speex.
Furthermore, FLAC is reaching (or already has) a new mile-stone.
