[neurosetta] Positron says 'not mounted'

I'm pretty sure I've seen this happen on a machine where I was using autofs to 
automatically mount the Neuros. I found that positron worked if I was 
actually _in_ the mount point (i.e. "cd /mnt/auto/removable ; positron 
rebuild" or whatever), but not if I was outside. It seemed as though whatever 
method positron was using to check for the mount does not trigger the 
automounter.
