[Icecast] listclients with url authentication

I'm using  the latest Icecast (2.4.99.2) compiled for TLS and having a
problem using the `listclients` page. It works fine if the URL
authentication is not used. Also pages like `/admin/stats` are available
with the standard basic authentication. But, when trying to get the client
list from `/admin/listclients?mount=stream`, the host responds with
<text>You need to authenticate</text> message.

This may be related to the issue described by
https://gitlab.xiph.org/xiph/icecast-server/-/issues/2387, although I am
*NOT* doing stream authentication, so this is even simpler.

Is there a work around for this? Is this an appropriate place to bring this
up, or should I be commenting over there?  Any other steps I can do to help
explore this?
