[Icecast] Trouble

Thanks.   My customer where the Icecast server is located is having trouble
with Comcast locally.  It is their monthly "area-wide outage" that can only
be fixed between midnight and 0600 when the office is closed.  I will
unblock the world as soon as I can log in.

I am in New Zealand.

There are a LOT of Comcast servers on the route from here. 

They may be using least cost routing and moving traffic across their owned
circuits.

The issue may be external to the server.

The link above is the homepage for Metropolitan Washington Ear, a radio
reading service for the blind.

 

Somebody else installed Icecast on a dedicated Windows 7 PC in 2008.   Roll
forward to 2022 (almost) the live feed still works great.  But the Radio
Archive (which see on the homepage) does not.

 

I just tested it again.  By clicking one of the radio programs the browser
attempts to contact Icecast via this URL:
<http://live.washear.org/mp3s/20-09.mp3>
http://live.washear.org/mp3s/20-09.mp3

 

No response.  Dang.
