Please do not highjack another thread, this is a very annoying thing to do.

You might have done it by accident, clicking reply on an email and manually changing the subject to a completely different one. Do not do that for mailing lists, your mail will still have a header saying it is a reply to the email you are replying to.

What you do instead is create a new email and write it to the address of the list, not a reply.
