[Icecast] Icecast is running, but not responding

yeah right, check your *mountpoint*.
also you should consider to take a look at the *config-file* as a whole.
there are differences between old config files and the ones used in the
recent icecast version.
they are not compatible or at least (in my configuration) weren't
interchangeable and the new version uses a *larger tag-set*.
you can't go far from an distant analyses by mailing-list users without
fingerprinting your whole system.
also people in here are busy (speaking for myself) and only in the mood
to reply when they search for distraction. (see before)
i learned that the hard way...
