[Icecast] Icecast 2 on ubuntu 14 - service will not start using /etc/init.d

whomever posted I can quite follow, either Jeff or Jose, this

/etc/init.d/icecast2 is actually included in the startup ?
Check with ls /etc/rc* | grep icecast2

I am working on ubuntu and we don't have an /etc/rc.  we have 
/etc/init.d and there is an /etc/init.d/icecast2 file there.

Interesting, I manually started the icecast2 and I shut it down using 
the /etc/init.d/icecast2 stop.
