On Debian GNU/Linux:
* Epiphany 2.30.6 ---> It works well
* Chromium 6.0.472.63 ---> It does not work
* Mozilla Firefox 20.0 ---> It does not work
* Google Chrome 25.0.1364.97 ---> It works well
You should try:
<audio id="player1"
src="http://icecast.will.illinois.edu:8000/something.ogg"
autoplay="true" controls="controls"></audio>
Some testing with the four web browsers:
* With "something" above operation is repeated.
* With "something.mp3" above operation is repeated.
* With "something.ogg" the four web browsers works ok.
No differences produces define or omit "type":
* type="audio/mp3"
* type="audio/ogg"
* skip type
