OK. So if I connect using the

<bind-address>192.x.x.x</bind-address>

(my eth0 static IP address), it works OK.

http://192.x.x.x:8000/admin/stats.xml

This XML file does not appear to have any style information 
associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
