HTML5 doesn't have any _specific_ support for live video, as far as I
know, but it certainly supports it perfectly ok if you don't care
about low latency use-cases.

It also depends on what codecs/containers you're using, of course -
which HTML5 doesn't specify. If you use Ogg along with, say, theora
and vorbis - live video works well.
