[Icecast] Live broadcasts?

Hi,

Sure.
But it doesn't depend on icecast if it's a live stream or not. It
accepts a stream from a source and them passes it on.
There are a couple pieces of software that support taking input from a
sound card and after encoding they forward the stream to icecast. A
couple names: liveice, darkice (these for Linux) and oddcast for
Windows.
