I'd say use Linux for the Icecast server since that is something that you should be able to setup and forget - A little bit of maintenance, but, not a lot. So, you don't have to deal with it everyday. Then, use Windows, Mac, or Linux - whichever you are most comfortable with - to create the programming that feeds the Icecast server. Geoff
