[Icecast] Sound card recommendation?

For this application, I would recommend any Envy24 based card such as most
of the M-Audio cards. They have several to choose from depending upon
number of channels, sample-rate, and analog and/or digital I/O required.
These cards work very well and have Linux driver support. I have used
several to stream commercial radio stations using the digital inputs.
Terratec also uses the Envy24 chip on several cards, as do a few others.
