The correct form is --with-flac=/usr/local
although linux systems often check /usr/local by default, so this is
typically unnecessary.

whoops, it looks like there's a typo in the header check. It's
looking for the faad (mp4) header instead. You can try the following patch,
which I'm about to commit.
