Oh yeah, I've managed this before using some response hackery in 
icecast 1.3.x

Shoutcast's YP server do a reverse query on the server requesting a YP 
listing and it expects a certain response.

I did this about a year and a half ago, and it was successful for many 
months, then suddenly my server's IP was banned from the Shoutcast YP 
servers... so I guess somehow they figured it out or I got ratted out.

Shoutcast's YP is understandably for shout servers. Yes, Icecast has 
it's own YP server, but it suffers from the same thing that all of 
Xiph.org's products suffer from, and that is lack of promotion 
*coughOGGcough* and so will likely not be seen as the "internet radio 
mecca" that shoutcast YP is.
