[Icecast] icecast2 and xmms-liveice - invalid or missing password

hello,

I'm using icecast2 and xmms-liveice 1.0
after configuring my xmms-liveice i try to connect to the icecast2 server.
my logs show:

[2004-11-13  06:47:50] INFO connection/_handle_source_request Source
logging in at mountpoint "/"
[2004-11-13  06:47:50] INFO connection/_handle_source_request Source (/)
attempted to login with invalid or missing password

i have changed the password in client and server many times to no avail.
i'm running in a chroot environment as user icecast
