It is done...at usual place www.xiph.org/~karl

The code is not enabled by default as the multi-ogg codec module is, do
 
configure --enable-vorbis-updates

to enable it, then you can use URL updates of either

http:... /admin/metadata?mount=/mount&mode=updinfo&song=New%20Title 
or
http:.../admin/metadata?mount=/mount&mode=updinfo&artist=artist&title=title
