[icecast] icecast on FreeBSD

Hello,
    I'm trying to set up icecast on a FreeBSD 5.1 machine to stream mp3's.
I've got the icecast port installed, and when i start it it does indeed open
port 8000, however i do not see a port of a streamer application that does
not require x. I don't have a gui on this sbox and would not like to install
one for this purpose. If anyone has a box with this working please Email me,
some help would be appreciated.
