Just a short note: Afaik ices-2.x doesn't support mp3 yet and latest 
ices-0.2.3 afaik has problems with mp3 (connects okay but doesn't 
send audio to server). So why not use streamTranscoder? Are there 
also problems? Have you tried latest?
