I've just finished building Debian packages of all of the software in
question. I ran into the same problem during testing.

It seems to me, that sourcing with ices does not work on any mountpoint
which is defined with a <mount> in icecast.xml. Either changing the target
mountpoint in the ices configuration, or removing the <mount> section from the
icecast configuration fixed this for me.

Is this a correct diagnosis? It is quite reproducable with my packages, at
least. This would seem to be a rather significant discrepancy in the example
configurations, or perhaps just confusion as a result of a complete lack of
documentation.
