[icecast] What's needed for non-live streaming of mp3 files

Hello,

Sorry to ask such a stupid question, but I'm pretty confused about exactly what I need.

We want to use icecast to serve specific mp3 files which are linked to from a web site.

I wa initially under the impression that I needed icedir, but I can't find any instructions on icedir (there's not rEADME in the cvs directory) and now it seem that perhaps I need ices, but I"m really not sure.

If someone could point out what I need for a simple "static" setup, I'd appreciate it.
