[icecast] Icecast/Liveice problems

Hello,
  I've got icecast and liveice configured now.  When I put liveice in
  mixer mode and give it a playlist it serves out the stream fine.
  When I try to do it soundcard only, winamp times out trying to
  connect to the stream.  I have successfully recorded with the sound
  recorder from gnome so sound levels and recording source shouldn't
  be a problem.  Any suggestions?
