i would recommend trying to get another ip address (dedicated for
icecast:80).  

if that is not possible, you can proxy through apache, but that means
you'll have an apache process running for each stream connection...  

another alternative is to use something like nginx/ha-proxy to proxy all
:80 requests -- then each stream connection would be more lightweight as
you wouldn't have to go near apache to stream.
