Alexander,

Icecast 1.3.x is deprecated and unsupported - we don't intend to do anything 
with it ever again. One of the main reasons for replacing it (with icecast 2) 
was scalability and multi-format support. You may find that adapting icecast2 
for your needs is fairly easy.
